How To Choose A Jogging Stroller
Reclining Seat – When baby is happy, mommy is happy. Look for a jogger that can recline back in case your little one wants to take a nap.
Infant Adaptor – Many of the jogging strollers now have adaptors so you can put your car seat in it right from the start.
Wheel Size – Bigger wheels are generally best for heavy runners or rough terrain. Smaller wheels are better for walking on smooth surfaces.
Height – Check the height of the stroller. You should be able to walk naturally and not have to hunch over to push a stroller. Posture is very important.
Transportation – A stroller might push great and look great but it does you no good if you can’t get it in your car if you want to take it somewhere. Actually test out how easy it is to fold up and lift. Then test out how easy it is to unfold and set back up. A good jogging stroller can be folded and unfolded in one step. Make sure it fits in your trunk!
Baby Comfort – Look for things like padded seat, an adjustable canopy and possibly a snack tray option. You want your baby as comfortable as possible during the ride.
Remember, a jogging stroller can last you for many years so choose wisely. It will be a worth while investment!
