&lt;/span&gt;  &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;/strong&gt;This will be a 3 month long challenge Starting November 22nd, to see what changes you can make in your life to create a healthier, stronger, leaner you!  Just think, you've already got the exercise part down (you may just need to step it up a notch or two at class) so now you just need to add in the proper eating habits.  The best part is that you will have your fellow Stroller Striders encouraging you along the way so you are sure to succeed!  Enter as an individual or enter as a couple with your spouse!   &lt;br /&gt;
Note - you MUST be at least 9 months postpartum with NO KNOWN HEALTH CONCERNS to enter the challenge.  The person whom makes the most significant improvements in their fitness levels will be our "Get Fit Challenge Winner". &lt;br /&gt;

The initial testing will be done the Friday November 19th at 10:30 at the Walt Whitman Mall and Saturday November 20th at 10:30 at Tanger Outlets.  You will receive a body fat analysis test preformed by Stephanie, weight, measurements and a get fit book.  &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

SUPPORT IS PARAMOUNT!  Start telling your family and friends that this is something you are doing and that you need their support.  Maybe your husband even wants to jump aboard the healthy lifestyle train with you?  Make your health a priority…your family is counting on you! &lt;br /&gt;
  &lt;br /&gt;
SET UP AND VERBALIZE REALISTIC GOALS: Where would you like to see yourself in 3 months?  This goal is different for everyone.  We all have very different body types and everyone has a comfortable zone that they should be at.  Know what that is for you and make it a healthy, reachable goal. &lt;br /&gt;
  &lt;br /&gt;
THE WINNERS will be the persons who lose the most % of body fat points.  This makes it fair for ALL body types, sizes and shapes to compete against each other in this challenge.  PLEASE make sure you understand this.   &lt;br /&gt;
  &lt;br /&gt;
EXAMPLE - &lt;br /&gt;
Person 1 starts out at 40% fat, and drops down to 30%, they've lost 10% fat, &lt;br /&gt;
But only 25% of their total body fat percentage. &lt;br /&gt;
This is how it is figured..... (.10 divided by .40 = .25) &lt;br /&gt;
  &lt;br /&gt;
Person 2 starts out at 20% fat, and drops down to 10%, they've lost 10% fat, &lt;br /&gt;
BUT 50% of their total body fat percentage &lt;br /&gt;
This is how it is figured..... (.10 divided by .20 = .50) &lt;br /&gt;
Person 2 would be the winner. &lt;br /&gt;
  &lt;br /&gt;
THE COST &lt;br /&gt;
The cost for the challenge is $50 and includes the weekly weight ins, before and after results, weekly tips and recipes.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;

YOU AND STROLLER STRIDES AS A TEAM: You may NOT hire a personal trainer to help you during this challenge.  You can attend Stroller Strides classes as much as you want and work out on your own as much as you want aside from classes at home or at a gym if you wish.  You must be a current Stroller Strides member, instructor or playgroup captain to enter the challenge. &lt;br /&gt;

Unlike many baby products that your baby outgrows in a short time, a good jogging stroller can carry you from newborn well through early childhood. So, it’s important to find the right one for you. Here are some things to look for.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Swivel / Fixed Wheel &lt;/STRONG&gt;– We suggest a swivel wheel for its turning ease. You can literally turn it with one hand. A traditional fixed wheel jogger has to be pushed on the back wheels to turn. But for longer runs, you want a fixed wheel. The ideal stroller can be set as fixed or used as a swivel. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/DIV&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face=Garamond&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Reclining Seat&lt;/STRONG&gt; – When baby is happy, mommy is happy. Look for a jogger that can recline back in case your little one wants to take a nap.&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

Actually test out how easy it is to fold up and lift. Then test out how easy it is to unfold and set back up. A good jogging stroller can be folded and unfolded in one step. &lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face=Garamond size=3&gt;To&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;FONT face=Garamond size=3&gt;day marks a sad day...&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Please everyone send your purr-rayers and good thoughts our way. My family (my sister) has lost their beloved dog Pirate. Pirate&amp;nbsp;was a sweet loving dog who adored&amp;nbsp;my&amp;nbsp;niece Brielle.&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Pirate may have been small but he was no sissy!!! His brothers included two pitbulls &amp;nbsp;and a huge German Shepard (and I'm talking huge).&amp;nbsp; He certainty was the smallest of the bunch (only weighing about 10 lbs) but he ran like the rest of them.&amp;nbsp; Unfortunately Pirates life ended tragically today.&amp;nbsp; We can be thankful that he didn't suffer.&amp;nbsp; He is at peace and we know he is waiting for us...&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face=Garamond size=3&gt;When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.&lt;BR&gt;There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.&lt;BR&gt;There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT face=Garamond size=3&gt;All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.&lt;BR&gt;The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;FONT size=3&gt;&lt;FONT face=Garamond&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;You &lt;/STRONG&gt;have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. &lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

It includes power walking and intervals of body toning using exercise tubing and the stroller. Classes are taught by specially trained instructors. Please get doctor's permission before starting this or any other exercise. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;The workouts are 1-hour. Each class consists of a warm up (5 minutes), a power walk and "stations" where we do a variety of body toning exercises (about 45 minutes) followed by abs and/or stretching (10 minutes). We use exercise tubing (which we provide for you), the stroller and the environment to create our gym. Please don't worry if your child is fussy during class- your child is priority! All fitness levels are welcome- each member will decide their own intensity. There are also modifications for each exercise.&lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;All you need to bring is you, your child and the stroller- just about any kind of stroller will do so long as it's not prone to tipping. We also suggest you bring WATER, a hat or sunblock for both you and your child, and a towel or mat for our ground exercises. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;Attend class whenever you can. If you can only make it once a week, then try some of the exercises at home on your own. The key to getting back in shape and staying in shape is consistency. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;We recommend waiting until your baby is at least 6 weeks of age to begin class. They can take classes up to any age so long as they still enjoy a ride in the stroller. &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;So be ready to sweat, be ready to make some great friends and be ready to have some FUN! &lt;BR&gt;&lt;BR&gt;&lt;/FONT&gt;
